Award-winning presenter Angellica Bell has seamlessly progressed from beloved kid's TV presenter, to hugely successful adult factual and entertainment host.
The cheeky presenter graces our screens most days as the reporter for hit daily topical programme, The One Show on BBC1, which attracts viewing figures in excess of 5 million. And her warm presenting style has earned her the Best Presenter award at the Black Filmmakers Awards as well as BAFTA nominations two year's running in the Best Children's Presenter category.
The last few years have been a blur for the popular host, presenting The British Soap Awards After Party for ITV2 with her partner and fellow TV Presenter Michael Underwood presenting items on This Morning and guest presenting BBC2's Something for the Weekend. She has also been zipping all over the globe as a the last female celeb standing on ITV's 71 Degrees North and a panellist for I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here Now, and as the presenter of the primetime shows Holiday Hitsquad and Departure Lounge, both for BBC1.
Angellica also fronted EastEnders Xtra for BBC3, where she brought us an insight to the behind-the-scenes action and gossip from Albert Square and wowed fans by singing for charity in Comic Relief Does Fame Academy for BBC1 and presented the hugely popular Celebair for ITV2. With a background studying politics at university and Julian Bell - leader of Ealing council - as her father, she was the perfect choice to host Election with Jonathan Dimbleby for CBBC, a political show for young people that went on to win a Children's BAFTA last year.
She will always look back on her early presenting career on CBBC fondly. It spanned more than six years and saw her presenting high-profile shows like The Saturday Show, Short Change and 50/50.
